Michel Beigbeder (from Ecole des Mines de Saint Etienne) gives a talk Wednesday October 7th at 2:30pm in room C05 (building C).
I will present a model of text retrieval which is not a bag
retrieval model. Depending on the query this model scores
documents according to the proximity of the query term
occurrences in each document. I will also present how to
take into account in this model a non text based feature:
the logical structure. Finally I will also mention the case
of an external structure: hyperlinks.
